I tasted all the versions, and I agree the Draft was my favorite as well. The carbonation moved the beer and was more crisp and refreshing than the cask offerings.

TR and I just had this discussion. He was saying his 'dark beers' were really dark and inquiring about the Lovibond for Roasted Barley that you would get from say Maryland Homebrew compared to some you buy from another source. MDHB should have all the vitals on the grain you buy just ask Chris. 350L to 500L...That would make a big difference in the color of the two beers. I've seen breweries that the only difference between their House Pale or Blonde is a little Roasted Barley for color. I would have taken your American Brown Recipe from before and switched the Chocolate for a split of Roast Barley and Crystal 120L and that would have been a winner...at least for my taste. You should make that for MASHOUT!

I can hardly wait to spill Aventinus all down the front of me! ;-)

This is going to be great. Really looking forward to this place opening. Now if we could just get one in Baltimore too.

Sounds delicious (although I am not a oyster person). From Ben's drinks, through the meal, I might have to drag my fiance up there

The Manhattan:
3-parts Canadian or Rye Whiskey
1 part Sweet (Red) Vermouth
1 dash bitters

The Tom Collins:
1-1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Soda Water

These were the drinks, along with The Old Fashioned and the good old Whisky Sour, my folks would make at their parties when I was growing up.
I'm a Gin & Tonic guy myself.
